Five Dimensions Explained (sort of)
- (1D) Two or more infinitely long lines are parallel if they never intersect in a plane.
- (2D) Two or more infinitely large planes are parallel if they never intersect in space.
- (3D) Two or more infinitely large spaces are parallel if they never intersect in time.
- (4D) Two or more infinitely large space-time instances (universes) are parallel if they never intersect in 5D (black hole).
- 1D coordinate is "a position on a line" (x)
- 2D coordinate is "a position on a plane" (x,y)
- 3D coordinate is "a position in a space" (x,y,z)
- 4D coordinate is "a position in a space at a specific time" (x,y,z,time)
- 5D coordinate is "a position in a space at a specific time in a specific instance of the inifinitaly many
parallel regular 4D universe instances" (x,y,z,time, universe)
